Meet Our Staff

Pastor Jacob Schumacher and wife, Brianna

Bro. Jacob and Brianna officially joined us at Gethsemane on March 3, 2024. Bro. Jacob attends the Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary in Minden, LA in addition to his new responsibilities at Gethsemane. Brianna attends Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA and is already serving in the church as President of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.

Deacon Travis Patterson and wife, Jessica.

Travis was the first baby born in the church after Gethsemane Church first started. He grew up to become our deacon. He and his wife, Jessica a have three children and live in the El Dorado area. He teaches the Mixed Adult Sunday School class. Jessica serves as church clerk and runs the screens and other audio/visual equipment during the services.
